More heat and humidity are expected for Middle Georgia
Good evening,
We once again had a record high temperature of 98 today here in Macon! The heat is not going to retreat anytime soon across the southeast. The rain however looks to stay away through much of the week.
High pressure once again has moved into the area, which means that the heat is on and many of our storm chances are out. Expect just a few clouds during the day on Tuesday, but very little relief from the heat in the way of a breeze.
By Wednesday we will continue to see much of the same with highs in the 90’s and mostly dry conditions across Middle Georgia.
Unfortunately, even though it will be fall, starting on Saturday, it will still be hot and feel like summer into the next 2 weeks. So get ready for more summer and plenty of sun over the next few weeks!
