Hay House to Host Macon Gardens and Historic Interiors 20th Annual Event

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — Middle Georgia’s premier garden event is happening this weekend.
Macon Gardens and Historic Interiors has been named one of the top 20 events in the Southeast and it is in it’s 20th year.

Starting Friday, May 3rd some of the most beautiful gardens and historic homes will be available to tour with an opportunity to check out Hay House.

Macon Gardens and Historic Interiors Co-Chair Leslie Cadle said, “We get property owners here in Macon to graciously volunteer their gardens for the tour. It is a fundraiser for Hay House, this is actually one of our biggest fundraisers of the year.”

“You get to see 5 incredible gardens and if you purchase the tickets for the interiors part of the tour you get to see 9 beautiful historic homes,” added Co-Chair Martha Maxwell.

The event also includes a variety of vendors with a selection of plants and garden accessories, along with free gardening seminars. For ticket information and event times, head to www.georgiatrust.org.
