Hard freeze expected again tonight, sunny weather continues

Middle Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Plants and pets should be taken indoors tonight as temperatures plummet once again to the low 20s. Temperatures today will be a little cooler than yesterday with a high of 46.

High pressure remains to the north of us, bringing cool and dry northerly winds into the area. That means humidity will be very low, allowing us to enjoy another sunny and chilly day.

A batch of moisture to our west will give some of us showers tomorrow and Thursday, but the most widespread rain arrives Friday. A low pressure system drags plenty of winter weather to our north, though it’ll only bring rain to our area. The timing so far looks to be in the morning and afternoon. No threat for severe weather.

By Saturday, drier and cooler air fills in behind that front, dragging our highs down to around 50. Not seeing any rain after that for the rest of the 7-Day through Monday.
