Happy Hour Service Center invites community to State of the Organization Address, Heroes for Happy Hour-Super 5K Run and Walk

Both events highlight the organization’s mission to empower individuals with disabilities and strengthen community connections through education, inclusion and service.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Happy Hour Service Center is inviting the community to the upcoming State of the Organization Address and Heroes for Happy Hour Super 5K Run and Walk.

The State of the Organization Address will take place October 23 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Rigby’s Entertainment Complex. The evening will include reflections on the past year, celebrations of success, and a look ahead at future goals. Former Major League Baseball player Sid Bream will serve as guest speaker. Those unable to attend in person can tune in to a livestream of the event.

The celebration continues with the Heroes for Happy Hour Super 5K Run and Walk on November 1, starting at 8 a.m. at the Happy Hour Service Center campus in Warner Robins. Proceeds from the race will support the organization’s programs that help adults with developmental disabilities gain independence through residential, vocational and social services.

Bruce Hullett, community relations coordinator at Happy Hour Service Center, says the events are open to the community.
