Hancock State Prison officer arrested with contraband

Landau is charged with violation of oath of office and items prohibited for inmate possession without warden's authorization.

HANCOCK COUNTY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) –An officer at Hancock State Prison is charged after the Georgia Department of Corrections (GDC) says she reported to work with contraband.

Officer Jehan Landau was arrested on January 8 when GDC says she showed up at work with one pair of white socks, one pair of men’s underwear, one pair of multi-colored shorts and a sweatshirt.

Landau is charged with violation of oath of office and items prohibited for inmate possession without warden’s authorization.
