Hancock County Health Department hosting “It Takes A Village” Community Resource Expo

The 3rd Annual “It Takes A Village” Community Resource Expo is set to take place on Saturday, April 18, at the Hancock County Youth Center in Sparta.

SPARTA, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Hancock County Health Department is inviting the community out for a day focused on health, wellness and connection.

The event, scheduled for Saturday, April 18, will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is free and open to the public.

Organizers say the expo is designed to bring together a wide range of resources all in one place, making it easier for families to access important services. Attendees can expect free health and wellness resources, along with opportunities to learn more about maintaining their health.

The event will also feature giveaways, raffles and free refreshments while supplies last. In addition, community members will have the chance to catch up on routine vaccines and receive updated health information.
