Halloween forecast will be a treat, but severe storms are possible for Thursday
Good evening,
Another day of plentiful sunshine is on the way, for much of Middle Georgia tomorrow, and just in time for Halloween!
It will be another lovely day across the area, with highs reaching into the low 80’s in Middle Georgia. Trick or treating weather will be staying dry and mild, so hopefully the kids should get lots of candy.
This warm up is in part because of our next system. A cold front will be moving in from the west with will bring southerly winds to much of the area, as well as increased humidity.
By Thursday afternoon we will start to see storms popping up along and ahead of a line that could bring severe weather to the area. It is now our secondary severe weather season across the southeast.
Be aware that on Thursday afternoon and evening we will see the possibility of strong winds as well as isolated tornadoes. Be sure you stay weather aware and have multiple ways to get weather warnings.
