Gunshot wounded body found in McRae home

MCRAE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A body was found at a Telfair Avenue home in McRae Wednesday afternoon.

GBI agents said 67-year-old Lewis Seay had gunshot wounds on his body, but they are still determining if it’s a homicide investigation.

McRae-Helena Police investigators said Seay lived at the home.

Both the GBI and the McRae-Helena Police Department are working this investigation.

An autopsy will be performed by the end of the week.
