Group performs, gives free lunch to homeless

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A community mime ministry group served free lunch to the homeless and performed in Central City Park Saturday.

IMIME is an organization that mentors youth through dance and mime, according to director Nicholas Farley.

The group, along with their parents and other adults, served more than 300 bag lunches to the less fortunate. The lunches include a hot dog, chips, juice and water.

“Our parents have come together and sowed in to this particular organization and we’re just able to be a blessing to people that we know that have some challenges,” says Farley says. “But, we want to show them that we love them and we care about them.”

IMIME ministered through dance during a “RealLife Church Outreach” that was going on in the park.
