Gresham Motorsports Park And Hoosier Racing Tires To Keep Compounds The Same In 2012
JEFFERSON, GA – Gresham Motorsports Park and Hoosier Racing Tires have announced there will not be a tire compound change for 2012 due to the fact that the F45 and the Star F56 have worked so well since the track renovation in 2009.
This tire combination was designed specifically for GMP’s Super, Pro and Outlaw Late Models and has proven to be the most consistent and the most economical tire that has competed at GMP.
“When Hoosier was testing all of the combination of tires for GMP in 2009 it was hard for me to believe that they could come up with such a great tire that could withstand all of the abuse, still remain consistent and have very little wear. The tire combination was well-suited for the asphalt formula that was designed for GMP,” said GMP General Manager, Dan Elliott.
“This is where tire technology and asphalt technology really paid dividends. This combination has proven itself to be the most affordable and reliable for the Super, Pro and Outlaw divisions.”
