Grandmother’s Tea To Raise Breastfeeding Awareness

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — The month of August is Breastfeeding Awareness Month and this week happens to be World Breastfeeding Week. In honor of both, Coliseum Medical Center is hosting a Grandmother’s Tea. It’s designed to provide grandmothers with knowledge to support new mothers in their breastfeeding efforts. Chevonnia Jones with the North Central Health District and Kristy Fors from Coliseum Medical Centers stopped by Daybreak with the details.
