Gordon City Council struggles to approve budget

GORDON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The City of Gordon still doesn’t have a budget after Monday night’s council meeting.

In order to be in compliance with state law, representatives from the Regional Commission advised council to approve just the proposed general fund. 

Some council members wanted to wait until there was an amount for every line in the budget. 

City council voted to hold a special called meeting next Monday to continue the budget discussion.
