Going Green: Paying Less for Paintless Dent Removal

Getting dents out of your car can be expensive, but Dent Tricks, a green business, specializes in fixing those repairs for reduced prices.

According to owner Troy Tarpley, paintless dent removal is about 1/3 to 1/4 of what conventional body repairs usually cost.

He says a repair job that costs $1,000 will end up costing consumers around $300 if they choice paintless options.

 ent Tricks uses an earth friendly approach to fixing dents. “We don’t use any solvent, no paints, no body filler, no tape, no plastics nothing except a little sweat equity,” says Tarpley.

The service works by using a metal rod to apply pressure to the dent, which then reshapes the dent back to its original form.

The repair process produces absolutely no waste. Tarpley says, “The process or removing the dent is 100% green.”
