HAWKINSVILLE, Georgia – (41NBC/WMGT) – The Hawkinsville Red Devils lost at home in the second round of the GHSA playoffs to Towns County 1-0 (3-2 PK).

Several close calls from both teams throughout the game. Best chance for the Red Devils was on a penalty kick from GoalKeeper Camilla Salazar with time winding down in the game.

Her kick went wide left. This game went into two overtimes and was decided on penalty kicks.

Towns County went up 2-0 before roles reversed and it was tied at two a piece with just one kicker remaining for both teams. However, they would score first and Hawkinsville would be eliminated.
