The Bleckley County Royals swept the Bacon County Raiders to advance to the GHSA 1A - D1 Elite Eight...along with other scores from the night
COCHRAN, Georgia – (41NBC/WMGT) – The Bleckley County Royals (23-6) swept the Bacon County Raiders (19-9) to advance to the GHSA 1A – D1 Elite Eight.
After taking the lead 1-0 in Game one, they allowed three runs in the top fifth to go down 3-1. However, the Royals rallied back scoring five runs in the bottom sixth and seventh to win the comeback and the game 5-4. Bleckley County would also go to win Game two 8-4 to advance to the Elite Eight where they will face the winner of Whitefield and Prince Ave on May 4th.
