GHSA Baseball State Championships Second Round Scores

Here are scores from the second round of the GHSA State Baseball Championships Thursday

MIDDLE GEORGIA – (41NBC/WMGT) – Here is a list of scores from the second round of the GHSA State Baseball Championships Thursday:

Mary Persons swept Upson-Lee 13-2 in game one and 14-1 in game two, to advance to the Elite Eight.

Peach County swept Bainbridge 11-1 in game one and 13-2 in game two, to advance to the Elite Eight. The Trojans will host Mary Persons Wednesday to meet in the GHSA AAA Quarterfinal round.

Bleckley County swept Fitzgerald 2-1 in game one and 3-0 (9inn) in game two, to advance to the Elite Eight. Royals will head to Pepperell Wednesday to meet in the GHSA A D-1 Quarterfinal round.

Washington County swept Banks County 7-4 in game one and 4-2 in game two, to to advance to the Elite Eight. Golden Hawks will head to Gordon-Lee Wednesday to meet in the GHSA A D-1 Quarterfinal round.

ACE gets swept by Gordon-Lee 7-1 in game one and 7-2 in game two, to end the Gryphons season and Coach Josh McLendon’s tenure as Head Baseball Coach as he moves onto his new role as Dublin’s Head Softball Coach.
