Here are scores from the Quarterfinal round of the GHSA Baseball State Championships on Wednesday

MIDDLE GEORGIA – (41NBC/WMGT) – Here is a list of scores from the Elite Eight of the GHSA Baseball State Championships on Wednesday:

Class AAAAA:

Houston County sweeps Pope (6-4, 4-2) to advance to the Final Four. The Bears will host Loganville Tuesday, May 13 at The Garden.

Class AAA:

Peach County sweeps Mary Persons (3-2, 3-0) to advance to the Final Four. The Trojans will host Cherokee Bluff Tuesday, May 13 at The Trojan Athletic Complex.

Class A D-I:

Bleckley County took game one against Pepperell 6-2, but lost game two 8-1 to force a decisive game three. The Royals will face the Dragons in Game Three at 5 p.m. for a shot at the Final Four.

Washington County is swept by Gordon-Lee (3-0, 8-2) on the road to end their season at 26-9 overall.
