Get Your Tennis Shoes Ready, Race for the Cure is Almost Here

People are grabbing their pink! October is Breast cancer awareness month and one of the biggest events is just around the corner.  Central Georgia Affiliate Director with Susan G. Komen Stephanie Steinbart and Race Chair Susannah Cox joined us Monday on the 41NBC news at 6pm with everything you need to know about the 2011 Race for the Cure.

The Race for the Cure is Saturday, October 15, in Central City Park in downtown Macon. You can sign-up online until Monday, October 10, by visiting www.komencentralga.org. The race is free for survivors and kids 10 and under and $25 for everyone else.
