Georgia State Patrol investigating deadly hit-and-run

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Georgia State Patrol is investigating a fatal hit-and-run.  It happened around 4:30 Monday afternoon at the intersection of Houston Avenue/Broadway and Pio Nono Avenue.

Bibb County Coronor Leon Jones tells 41NBC, the driver of an older model Toyota Camry crossed the center line and hit a Cadillac CTS.

Thirty-one-year-old Brandon Harrell was taken to the hospital, and died during surgery.

According to reports, the other driver ran away from the scene.
