PERRY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The 36th annual Georgia National Fair wrapped up on Sunday after drawing a record-breaking 612,706 visitors to the Georgia National Fairgrounds & Agricenter in Perry.
The 11-day event, held October 2–12, celebrated the best of Georgia agriculture, family fun and community tradition.
This year’s theme, “Fairadise and America 250,” blended tropical flair with patriotic pride. Fairgoers enjoyed island-inspired décor and entertainment alongside exhibits honoring the nation’s upcoming 250th anniversary.
The Fair recorded three of its highest-attended nights ever during the second weekend. Signature attractions included the Fair Food Fight, Youth Livestock Shows and Georgia Grown showcases featuring locally made products and producers.
Organizers said the Fair continues to serve as a cornerstone event for the state, fostering youth development, agricultural education and family traditions.
