Georgia College Police Investigating Bomb Threat, Trying to Identify Caller

MILLEDGEVILLE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Georgia College police are continuing to investigate a bomb threat that shut down the campus Thursday afternoon.

Georgia College spokesperson John Hachtel says the investigation is ongoing. Police checked out the entire campus on Thursday and nothing was found.

Georgia College police are now trying to identify the person who made the call.

Baldwin County Sheriff Bill Massee says a call came into the 911 dispatch center around 2:15 pm. The caller said there was a bomb threat on campus, but investigators did not know of an exact location.
