Georgia College Hosts First December Commencement Since 2005

MILLEDGEVILLE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Years of studying and final exams, paid off for about 250 graduates at Georgia College.

For the first time since 2005, the school had a December commencement.

Georgia College’s Public Relations Officer Brittany Barber said the December ceremony comes after several requests from students and student organizations.

President of the Sandersville Railroad Company Ben Tarbutton III was the keynote speaker.
