Georgia Chamber of Commerce “Georgia to Georgia Campaign”

MILLEDGEVILLE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Georgia business leaders are looking to boost the economy.

Georgia Chamber of Commerce President, Chris Clark, is traveling across the state to get the word out about the “Georgia to Georgia” campaign.

House representative Bubber Epps was among many politicians attending the Baldwin County Chamber of Commerce event.

Epps says he’s glad Middle Georgia is not left out of the state’s business plan.

According to Clark, companies should rely on each other, rather than using out-of-state services and products.

“If we do that for manufacturing, for example, it’ll be three quarters of a billion dollars worth of more economic activity,” says Clark. “This year do two percent more business with other companies that are here in the state of Georgia.”

Clark believes companies working with the “Georgia to Georgia” campaign, can increase the state’s economy to nearly a billion dollars.
