Georgia Bridal Show Draws Big Crowd

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Brides-to-be filled the streets of downtown Macon, as they headed out for a full day of wedding planning, cake tasting and more.

The Georgia Bridal Show held it’s annual expo at the Macon City Auditorium Sunday afternoon.

The event allowed couples to meet face-to-face with vendors from all across the state, in preparation for their big day.

“What’s different this year is we have some very unique venues, like barn type venues,

outdoor type venues,” said Georgia Bridal Show producer Tommy Vaughan.

According to Vaughan, nearly a thousand people attended this year’s event. The big hits were this year’s fashion show and honey moon giveaway.

The expo will stop in Savannah on February 24 and in Atlanta on March 10.
