Georgia Baptist Convention hosts annual meeting in Macon
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT)- The opening to the Georgia Baptist Convention annual meeting was held Sunday night at Ingleside Baptist Church.
Over 1,500 people from churches throughout Georgia are expected to attend the meeting.
The three day conference will have praise, prayer, and business meetings.
“It’s a mixture of both inspirational activity, business meetings and praise and worship,’ Communications director Mark Strange said.
Church leaders will decide on many different business proposals through committee meetings.
There are 3,593 Georgia Southern Baptist churches in the Georgia, with 1.4 million members.
The conference ends on Tuesday.
