Georgia agency review man’s death at historic train yard
ATLANTA Georgia – The Georgia Bureau of Investigating is reviewing the death of a 19-year-old man at a metro Atlanta train yard.
Officials say Alexander Flynn entered the Pullman Train Yard in the city’s Kirkwood neighborhood with two friends to skateboard and explore on Friday. But they say the three didn’t have permission to enter the historic space, full of historic railroad warehouses with equipment inside.
Authorities believe Flynn attempted to walk across a building roof but stepped on a skylight and fell about 40 feet onto concrete floor. Flynn died from his injuries.
GBI officials warn that the area is dangerous and say people shouldn’t enter the train yard.
