GC Softball to Hold Toys for Tots Drive at Basketball Monday

MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. (GCSU RELEASE) – The Georgia College softball team and head coach Jamie Grodecki will be holding a Toys For Tots drive Monday, Nov. 11 at 7:30 p.m. during the men’s basketball home opener at the Centennial Center.

“It is that time of year where you want to reach out and help those in need, because we all deserve to enjoy the holidays,” said Grodecki. “We hope that this event can help bring lots of gifts to kids in our community for Christmas! It is a joy and a privilege to be involved in an event that will hopefully help bring some joy and happiness to someone’s family.”

Free admission will be given to those who donate at least one toy. The softball team will also be providing a variety of fun and exciting activities for kids on the upper level courts prior to and during the game, including a wiffle ball game and radar gun toss.
