GC Men’s Cross Country Cracks Region Ranks
NEW ORLEANS (GCSU RELEASE) – The United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) recently released the national and regional rankings for cross country, with the Georgia College men’s team positioned eighth in the Southeast Region.
This marks the first week the Bobcats have taken a spot in the region poll, coming off a first place finish at their home meet, the Bobcat Invitational Friday, Sept. 13.
The top spot belongs to Mount Olive College, with five Peach Belt Conference (PBC) schools ranked in the top-10. GRU Augusta is positioned second, while Columbus State University owns the fifth slot. Flagler College is seventh, and Clayton State University is 10th.
The Bobcats will be back in action Sept. 21 at the Pop Crowell Invitational hosted by Gordon College in Wenham, Mass.
