GBI: Rhine wife may have lied to investigators about husband’s death
RHINE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The GBI has made a discovery in the case about a wife who said she shot her husband in Dodge County November 1st.
The investigation revealed Donna Lucas, who initially said she shot her husband Abdul, may have lied.
The GBI believes her son Antoine Squire shot his stepfather.
He’s charged with voluntary manslaughter and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
His mother is charged with giving false statements.
The shooting happened on Cleveland Lane in Rhine.
Initially the family told investigators Donna shot Abdul in self-defense.
