GBI Joins Search Efforts to Find Missing Hawkinsville Teen, Family Offering a Reward
HAWKINSVILLE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Georgia Bureau of Investigations is joining the search efforts to find a missing Hawkinsville teen.
15-year-old Madison Conner was last seen by her family Friday night when they went to bed. They believe sometime after midnight, their oldest daughter left their home, and they haven’t heard from her since.
GBI Region 12 Special Agent in Charge Todd Lowery tells 41NBC investigators are chasing and following up leads. He says they have talked to family members and friends to get information on where she could be.
Lowery says they believe she ran away from home.
Family spokesperson Ken Clark says he has no idea where she could be heading. GBI believes she may be going north towards Atlanta in a car.
The family has posted $10,000 reward for information to lead to the actual location of Madison.
Madison is about 5’10” and weighs around 135 pounds. She has brown eyes and dark auburn hair with braces and spiral gauge ear piercings. Clark says she could have dyed her hair black.
Deputy Marvin Giddens with the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office says they have received tips from Florida all the way to Ohio, but nothing has turned up yet.
Anyone with information on Madison’s whereabouts should call the GBI office in Eastman (478) 374-6988 or Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office (478) 783-1212 or (478) 783-1521.
