GBI Determines Ohio Woman’s Cause of Death

The GBI has released the cause of death of an elderly Ohio woman found in Middle Georgia.

85-year old Gladis Russell’s death was ruled a homicide as a result of blunt force trauma.

Her body was found in Dooly County on March 9th, after she and her husband, Richard, went missing last month.

The man suspected in their disappearance told police he dumped their bodies on the way to Florida.

Russell’s body is scheduled to be returned to Ohio sometime next week.
