Gas station robbed in north Macon

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT)- The Walthall Chevron gas station on Riverside Drive was robbed early Thursday morning.

It happened just after 1:00 a.m. Deputies say a man wearing a mask entered the store with a handgun and demanded money from the cashier.

After receiving an undisclosed amount of money, he ran off in the direction towards Burger King.

He was last seen wearing a brown jacket.
