Ga. inmate on the run after walking away from work detail

MOUNT VERNON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – An inmate is loose after escaping from Montgomery State Prison Monday morning.

According to a Twitter post by the Georgia Department of Corrections, 58-year-old Walter Bryne Eller walked away from a work detail at a chicken house around 8:30 a.m.

Eller is 5-foot-10 and 220 lbs.

The Dept. of Corrections is asking the public to call 911 if  you see him.
