G.B.I. Searching Wilkinson County Tax Commissoner’s Office

The G.B.I. spent the day at the Wilkinson County Tax Commissioners office, searching computers and files after an allegation of theft.

Tom Davis of the Milledgeville G.B.I., said the District Attorney requested the search.

Davis says the G.B.I. is still working on recovered documents to see what,
if anything was stolen. He says they will continue to look through the documents, and it will likely take a couple of weeks before they get any solid answers.
