Furry Friends Sign ‘I Love Macon’ Pledge

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – More than a dozen people and their furry friends flocked to the dog park on Sunday to declare their love for Macon.

Central Georgia Cares and it’s mascot AC Pup spent the day in the park encouraging people to sign the ‘I Love Macon’ pledge and do something good for the community.

AC Pup made the pledge official with the stamp of a paw.

“If there is a project going on in the area that we can participate in and we can help promote then we certainly wanna do that,” said Patti Jones, director of Central Georgia Cares.

‘I Love Macon’ is still 1,500 signatures short of it’s 10,000 pledge goal. To declare your love for Macon visit sign the pledge at ilovemacon.org.
