(NBC Sports)- Frederick Richard, Brody Malone, Asher Hong, Paul Juda, and Stephen Nedoroscik were selected to represent the mens gymnastics team at the Paris Olympics coming out of the U.S. Olympic Gymnastics Team Trials.

The teams goal is to bring home an Olympic team medal for the first time since 2008.

Frederick Richard wins the all-around (170.500) and gets a ticket to his first Olympics.

Three-time national champion Brody Malone was uncertain if Paris was even a possibility after a devastating knee injury.

Almost 15 months later, Malone finishes second all-around to make his second Olympic team (170.300).

2022 world team bronze medalists Paul Juda and Asher Hong were named to an Olympic team for the first time in their careers.

2021 pommel horse world champion, Stephen Nedoroscik, fell short of making the Tokyo team three years ago. This will be his first Games.

Three-time world medalist Khoi Young and Tokyo Olympian Shane Wiskus were named as the traveling alternates.
