Several local teams get their first taste of gridiron action in fall scrimmage

MIDDLE GEORGIA- (41NBC/WMGT) – Several local teams got their first taste of gridiron action in fall scrimmage Friday night.

Houston County hosted Crisp County. The Bears start their season on August 16th at Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta against Brookwood. The Cougars start their season August 15th on the road against Sumter County.

Peach County battled Warner Robins in Fort Valley. The Trojans kick off their season on August 15th as they host the Northeast Raiders. The Demons start their year against Lee County August 15th.

Northside hosted Perry. The Eagles host Eagles’ Landing on August 16th. The Panthers host the Baldwin Braves August 15th.

Mount De Sales battled Westfield at Cavalier Field. The Hornets and Cavaliers get their season started on August 15th.
