French Exchange Students to Spend 2 Weeks in Macon
17 Students from across the world have stopped in Middle Georgia to learn about the United States.
Rutland High School students and their families will host the students from Macon, France, which is a sister city to Macon, Georgia.
The visit took a year to plan and is a part of an exchange program Macon City Council member, Lauren Benedict, helped organize.
The students will stay in Macon until April 29th, and while they are here teachers hope students will can worldly experience and help expel stereotypes.
Rutland High School’s International Business program will take the students around the city and introduce the French students to Macon’s rich music history.
Students will also visit Lake Tobesofkee and venture up to Atlanta to enjoy a Braves game.
