FPD dominates GIAA Tennis State Championships

First Presbyterian Day School won both the Girls and Boys GIAA AAAA Team Tennis State Championships

MACON, Georgia – (41NBC/WMGT) – On Wednesday at the John Drew and Randy Stevens Tennis Centers, the FPD Vikings captured both the Boys and Girls GIAA AAAA Team Tennis State Championships.

The Lady Vikings defeated Brookstone 3-1 to defend their title and win back-to-back State Championships for the first time in school history.

The Boys Vikings Tennis team also made history. The boys won the State Championship for the first time in school history with a 3-0 victory over Tallulah Falls.

This comes a week after FPD won both the GIAA Girls and Boys Double’s State Championship.
