Four men arrested in Covenant Academy burglary
According to a news release, deputies responded to the burglary call around 6:00 a.m., Sunday. They received information that lawn equipment had been taken from the school. Some the equipment had tracking devices attached to them.
During a search deputies found a plastic cover that possibly came from a piece of the equipment and a lawn mower in the front yard of a home in the 4300 block Ayers Road. After further investigation the items from the school were found in the home.
26-year-old Kalvin Bland, 18-year-old Anthony Whitehead, 25-year-old Kelvin Carswell, and 45-year-old Quinton Lewis Sr. were arrested and charged with burglary and criminal damaged to property.
They are being held in the Bibb County jail. Whitehead and Carswell have a bond set and $10,850. Bond has not been set for Bland and Lewis.
