Four juveniles taken into custody after foot chase

According to the Bibb County Sheriff's Office, deputies found a stolen vehicle near Birch Street and Napier Avenue around 9:00 a.m.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — Four juveniles were taken into custody this morning in connection to stolen vehicle found in west Macon.

According to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, deputies found a stolen vehicle near Birch Street and Napier Avenue around 9:00 a.m.

Deputies say when attempting to speak with the juveniles, they ran off. After a brief foot chase, the teenagers were caught by deputies.

They say one of the teens, a 16-year-old, was taken to the Macon Regional Youth Detention Center. The other three, a fourteen, fifteen and sixteen year-old were released to their parents.

The Sheriff’s Office says investigation is still ongoing.
