FOUND: South Macon man goes missing

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A missing Macon has been found safe in Warner Robins.

According to Lt. Randy Gonzalez with the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, a man found missing 30-year-old Derwin Eric Lawson around 1:00 p.m. Friday sitting on the steps of the Warner Robins Chamber of Commerce

According to a news release, 30-year-old Derwin Eric Lawson went missing from his Allan Way home on Thursday between the hours of 7:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.


MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help to find a missing Macon man.

According to a news release, 30-year-old Derwin Eric Lawson went missing Thursday between the hours of 7:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. from his Allan Way home.

His family says Lawson is mentally disabled and has the mind of a young child.

He was last seen wearing a red Georgia Bulldogs t-shirt, red sweatpants, and a red and black Falcons jacket. He may be riding a red BMX bike with foot pegs on the back wheel.

Lawson may be headed to Atlanta to where his grandmother often travels.

Relatives say Lawson has not had his medication since the day he went missing and may seem frightened if approached.
