Fort Valley teen injured in shooting, now behind bars for Macon murder
17-year-old Donathan Latrell Hill of Fort Valley was taken into custody after a search warrant at a home in Columbus, Georgia.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) –A teenager, who was originally a victim in a shooting where a man died earlier this month in west Macon, is now behind bars in connection to that incident, according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.
The Sheriff’s Office says the Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force took 17-year-old Donathan Latrell Hill of Fort Valley into custody after a search warrant at a home in Columbus, Georgia, on Friday morning.
Hill was wanted for the death of 26-year-old Keshon Knolton, after Knolton was found with a gunshot wound at Green Meadows Apartment on Log Cabin Drive, December 8. Hill was also taken to the hospital in stable condition after being injured in the shooting.
He’s charged with Felony Murder, and currently being held without a bond.
Hill is the second suspect arrested for the death of Knolton. 24-year-old James Louis Chappell of Byron was taken into custody on December 13 in connection to the incident.
