Fort Valley Residents Speak Out About Plans For Street Scape

Tonight, a public meeting in Fort Valley draws a crowd of nearly 50 residents concerned about the street scape project.

This plan has been in the works for more than six years now. It wasn’t until 2010 when state funding was granted that this project began to take shape. Now that the plans are drawn, residents are speaking out.

“We are fully aware that tradition sometimes fades, but we would prefer to see it die a natural death, rather than an assisted one,” says resident, Preston King.
