Fort Valley Police Search for Armed Robbery Suspect
FORT VALLEY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — The Fort Valley Police Department is looking for a man investigators say robbed a Subway Wednesday night. According to a news release, the suspect walked into the restaurant on Commercial Heights around 9:30 and demanded money.
The victim thought the suspect had a handgun. He took off with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Police are looking for a man in his twenties, around 6 feet tall with a skinny build. He was wearing a tan jacket, gray and white mask, black shirt and a camouflage hat.
In a statement, Fort Valley Public Safety Director Lawrence Spurgeon said,
Our detectives are continuing the investigation with assistance from both Peach County and Houston County Sheriff departments.
