Fort Valley police investigating shooting involving juvenile Friday night

FORT VALLEY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A juvenile was injured in a shooting Friday night in Fort Valley, according to the Fort Valley Police Department.
Interim Chief D. M. Wilson said the shooting happened around 9 p.m. in the area of Tabor Circle.
The victim is a juvenile, and police said no additional information about the victim will be released.
Wilson said the department’s Criminal Investigations Division is investigating the incident. Because the investigation is ongoing, authorities said they cannot release further details at this time.
Police said investigators are working tips and leads as they attempt to identify and locate the suspect or suspects involved.
