Fort Valley police investigate store armed robbery

FORT VALLEY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Police in Fort Valley are looking for a man they say robbed a convenience store at gun point, Sunday morning.

According to a Facebook post by the Fort Valley Department of Public Safety, an armed man entered the Flash Foods on Blue Bird Boulevard around 1:00 a.m., and demanded money.

He left the store with an unknown amount of cash.

Captain Jerrell Smith says the department has leads in the robbery.
