Forsyth to host Fireworks Over Forsyth event on July 5

FORSYTH, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — Forsyth Main Street will host Fireworks Over Forsyth on Friday, July 5 to celebrate Independence Day.
The free, family-friendly event begins at 7:30 p.m. and is open to the public, according to Kemie Childs, director of the Main Street Downtown Development Authority. Live music will be provided by Not Your Average Band, and the fireworks show is scheduled to begin at 9:30 p.m. Food vendors will also be on site.
Attendees are encouraged to bring chairs or blankets for seating. However, outside tables, tents, and grills are not allowed. VIP tables are available for purchase.
Parking is available at the Monroe County Fine Arts Center and around the downtown square. No parking will be permitted in the field where the concert will take place.
