Forsyth Residents Hit Town Square for Trick-or-Treating

Tonight, Forsyth store-owners opened their doors and handed out treats to kids in costumes.

Each year, the community hosts an event at the square to make sure no children go home empty handed. One woman, Monica Clayton, says this event reminds her of her late husband’s love for the city.

“Jim loved this community. He loved this town. It meant everything to him,” says Clayton, owner of Smart Shoppes On The Square.

Just one year after her husband’s death, Clayton decided to open her doors for the community this Halloween.
