Forsyth Police Department Working to Ban Sale of Synthetic Marijuana
FORSYTH, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Forsyth Police Department is trying to crack down on the sale of synthetic marijuana and city leaders are helping them do it.
Forsyth City Council voted to hold a public hearing to discuss putting new laws in place that would prevent the sale, distribution, or possession of incense or herbal smoking blends commonly known as spice.
This substance is sold legally in gas stations and convenience stores in Monroe County and the city of Forsyth.
